KATHMANDU: Seven people have died in separate road accidents across various districts in Nepal over the past 24 hours, police said. In addition to the fatalities, 132 people sustained injuries in accidents during the same period.
The deaths occurred in Sunsari, Jhapa, Morang, Rautahat, Bhaktapur, Sindhuli, and Kanchanpur districts.
According to police data, the injuries reported across the country include 35 in Koshi Province, 23 in Lumbini Province, 22 in Madhesh Province, 13 in Karnali Province, 10 in Kathmandu Valley, 10 in Gandaki Province, and 10 in Sudurpashchim Province. Nine people were reported injured in Bagmati Province.
