KATHMANDU: Six people were killed and 18 others injured after a tractor-trolley collided with an electricity pole in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province, rescue officials said on Wednesday.
The accident occurred in Thatta district on Tuesday night. Following reports of the crash, a Rescue 1122 team was dispatched to the site. Local residents transported the bodies of the six deceased to the hospital using private vehicles.
The Rescue 1122 team transferred the 18 injured individuals to Civil Hospital Makli for medical treatment. According to officials, the fatalities include two women and four men. Authorities have stated that an investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
