KATHMANDU: Six new members have been appointed to the board of directors of the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. The Ministry of Health and Food Safety made the appointments on Tuesday.
According to the hospital, the appointments were made following interviews for vacant positions, as per Section 7, Sub-section 1 (ch) and (j) of the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital Act, 2053. The candidates were selected based on their merit ranking from the interview process.
The newly appointed members are Ramila Shilpkar, Surendra Gauchan, Shanti Bhurtel, Dipendra Das, Isha Pradhan, and Dilliram Bhandari. The members took their oath of office and secrecy on Tuesday. Hospital Chairman Prof. Dr. Yogendra Prasad Singh administered the oath in the presence of Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta.
