KATHMANDU: Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal returned to Nepal on Tuesday afternoon following his participation in the 153rd assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Arusha, Tanzania.
During the assembly, which took place from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9, Aryal addressed various issues including parliamentary practices, climate change, disaster risk reduction, governance, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
As part of the visit, the delegation led by the Speaker also visited the Kenyan parliament. The delegation observed parliamentary operations in Kenya and gathered information regarding their national budget formation process.
