KATHMANDU: Tourist activities have resumed in Pokhara following four days of continuous rain as the weather finally cleared. The improvement in conditions has created a favorable environment for visitors to explore the city and its surroundings.
With the skies clearing on Monday, tourists were seen engaging in various activities, including boating on Phewa Lake and visiting popular tourist destinations. As autumn is considered an ideal season for tourism in the region, officials expect a rise in the number of domestic and international visitors.
The clear weather has also provided stunning views of mountain ranges, including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri. These peaks have become visible again, drawing visitors who travel to the region specifically for mountain sightseeing. The autumn season, which begins in mid-September, is traditionally a peak time for tourism in Pokhara.
