Trip Inn Hotel Group donates Rs 5.1 million for Bhote Koshi flood victims

KATHMANDU: The Europe-based Trip Inn Hotel Group, operated by Nepali entrepreneurs, has donated Rs 5.1 million to support victims of the Bhote Koshi floods. The group’s charitable wing, Helping Hands, deposited the funds into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund on Monday.

Jiba Lamichhane, a director at the group, stated that the contribution was made to assist the government in its rescue and relief operations during the disaster. The country is currently facing a major catastrophe, Lamichhane said. Our objective is to support the government in effectively carrying out rescue and relief work during this difficult time.

Lamichhane emphasized the importance of collective support during emergencies, noting that the country currently requires both material and psychological solidarity. He added that while the amount of the contribution may vary, the act of support is essential during such crises.
