KATHMANDU: Vehicles have been allowed to pass through the Krishnabhir landslide site as a trial to restore traffic flow on the obstructed road section.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, approximately 20 vehicles, including one gas bullet, were successfully passed from the Kathmandu-Chitwan direction. Similarly, one heavy vehicle was also successfully passed from the Chitwan-Kathmandu direction.
The ministry stated that work to fully restore the road is progressing rapidly. Officials noted that once the road is fully operational, transport movement will become significantly easier.
