SUNSARI: The water level in the Saptakoshi river has risen, increasing the risk of flooding in the area. According to the Koshi Project, the water flow has been consistently increasing throughout the day.
Measurements taken at 9 p.m. recorded a water flow of 185,130 cusecs in the Saptakoshi river. In response to the rising water levels, 23 gates of the Koshi Barrage have been opened, the project reported.
