KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted partly cloudy weather across the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions.
Snowfall is also expected in some of these high-altitude areas. Similarly, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in a few places in the Terai region of Sudurpashchim Province and at one or two locations in the Terai areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
At night, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions, as well as in the Terai areas of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini provinces. The remaining Terai regions will see generally clear weather. The division stated that the possibility of moderate rain and snowfall remains in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions during the night.
