PALPA: A woman has gone missing in a landslide in Palpa on Friday. The missing woman has been identified as Krishna Kumari Saru, 59, of Dhustung from Ribdikot Rural Municipality-6.
According to the District Police Office, the landslide, triggered by incessant rainfall, damaged the houses of locals Kesuram Sarumagar and Ram Bahadur Uchai, leaving the woman missing.
Krishna Kumari, the spouse of Keshuram has remained unaccounted since the incident, while remaining four members in his family are safe.
Likewise, the four-member family of Ram Bahadur is also safe. The debris flow from above the road hit two mud-and-stone-made houses.
