KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives’ scheduled session on Monday morning was quickly adjourned as none of the federal ministers showed up.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire commenced the session at 11:30 am, but Nepali Congress MP Ramkrishna Yadav pointed out the glaring absence of any Council of Ministers members.
Consequently, Speaker Ghimire announced a 15-minute adjournment citing the government’s lack of representation.
The parliament session witnessed a notably low turnout of both ministers and parliamentarians.
